IT WAS ALL A DREAM…
Cincy Nice began as a simple idea: create more spaces where we can be ourselves and have fun together.
Our collective popped-up as the Cincy Nice Social House, a community lounge during BLINK 2019—the city’s largest arts and light festival. We designed a physical space where people could kick back together, make new friends, reconnect with old ones, enjoy good music, food, positive vibes and just feel free to be themselves.
More than 2,000 of you brought your smiles through our doors and filled up the weekend with so much happiness that we knew Cincy Nice had to keep going (because what’s nicer than being happy with friends in a city you love?)
We’re just getting started…
We officially launched in March 2020 (yep). Even through a global pandemic, we were able to band together with our mantra of “Still Smiling” to create platforms for diverse artists and lead several community efforts, activations and experiences. Above all else, this we believe to be true:
We believe in creativity; and value collaboration over competition.
We believe there’s power in culture and joy in community.
We believe in Cincinnati and in coming together to make it even better.
